B.F Yeates being presented with an honorary charcoal sketch.  B.F., AQHA Hall of Fame member, was an original organizer of SHOT and has touched the lives of so many in the horse community.  With him, L-R, Dr. Doug Householder,  (back)  Dr. Mike Martin, Dr. Dickson Varner, B.F., Phyllis Young  and Nora Thompson.

Tuesday March 23rd, TAMU College of Veterinary Medicine, TAMU Animal Science Equine Science Section and the Brazos Extension Horse Committee will sponsor seminars with information on “Horse Cloning”, “Piroplamosis” and “Hoof Trimming”.  Registration and the meal begins at 6:00.  For More Information, Click Here

“2010 St. Judes Trail Ride”

Stock Horse of Texas “SHOT” Show

The dates for the  SHOT show will be October 2, 3 & 4th, 2010 to be held at the Brazos County Exposition Center, Bryan, Texas.  As more information becomes available, it will be posted.

Phyllis Young Receives “HORSEMAN OF THE YEAR” award.

Longtime horse and program supporter, Phyllis Young, was honored recently by receiving the Horseman of the Year Award, the highest honor bestowed by this organization.  Dr. Mike Martin made the presentation.
