2009 Aggie Super Circuit

The Aggie Super Circuit is complete.  This years turnout was outsanding and everyone had a great time.  Dr. Dickson Varner took over 1,300 pictures at the show and many are available to view.  Click here to link to them.  Dr. Varner has offered to provide any pictures you are interested in free of charge.  These pictures are high resolution and suitable for printing.  Not all are listed, but if you see one you like you can contact Dr. Varner at dvarner@cvm.tamu.edu

 

Brazos Bottom Benefit Trail Ride

For Still Creek Christian Farm

The Brazos Bottom Benefit Trailride is scheduled for September 12, 2009, benefitting the Still Creek Christian Ranch.  The site is Foster Ranch in Branchville, Texas.  There will be 1,000 acres to ride on, Equine Vendors on site, breakfast and BBQ lunch, live music and equine demonstrations.  For More Information Click Here

 

S.H.O.T. Show 2009

The Stock Horse of Texas show dates for 2009 are October 2-4, 2009 to be held at the Brazos County Expo Center.  At this time it appears that October 2 will be the clinic day, October 3 will  have classes for Novice, Youth, and Green, with October 4th having classes for Non Pro, Limited Non-Pro and Open .  Judges are Ron Gill and Wes Allison.

Carroll Wood Receives “HORSEMAN OF THE YEAR” award.

Longtime horse and program supporter, Carroll Wood, was honored recently by receiving the Horseman of the Year Award, the highest honor bestowed by this organization.  Dr. Mike Martin made the presentation.
